Troisport Tri Club

  • The new Troisport Tri Club is the renamed triathlon club that was Tri for Life. Troi sport has taken over the management and running of the club in it entirety.
  • The aim of the club is create a home for a broad spectrum of athletes that share a passion for Triathlon.
  • An exciting swim opportunity on offer from Wahoo aquatic centre in Suninghill with dedicated triathlon lanes and coached sessions (R250 per month – Normally R400) – Details below
  • Cycle rides with a follow vehicle as from 1st of September.
  • Discounted membership rates for Kyalami Cycling, the cycling facility at the Kyalami race track.
  • Loyalty cards for members with discounts at the Troisport triathlon and multisport specialist shop.
  • Branded Zoot triathlon race kit for members at subsidised costs.
  • Club gazebo at pre selected races

Membership subscription

  • The annual subscription fee will be R400
  • The Triathlon year runs from 01 September - 31 August each year.
  • Every current and new member must complete the registration form for the 2007/ 8 season. This includes current Tri For Life members. Click here for a download of the registration form.
  • Membership cards will only be issued once you have settled your membership Fees.

Club race kit by ZOOT

Zoot race kit for the 2007/ 8 season is available from Troisport at subsidised costs. Club members must race in club kit. The options and costs are as follows:
  • Tri Top only (Red) @R350 (worn with your own Black shorts)
  • Two piece (Red top, Black bottom) @R700
  • One piece Tri suit (Red and Black) @R600

Prices include club branding with your name / nickname across the bum
Pictures of kit attached to the registration form. We have a sample of a branded Troisport Tri Club tri suit in the shop. The stock of red and black tri suits should be arriving in the next two weeks

Running and Cycling Licenses 2008

  • We are in discussion with both Central Gauteng Cycling and Athletics to find a way in which members of Troisport Tri Club can obtain licensed status of these bodies without joining another club (like a RAC or Cycle Lab). What is likely to happen is that we register Troisport Tri Club as a “Cycling Club” with CGC and as a “Running Club” with CGA. In practice we will be a Triathlon Club that offer our members the opportunity to buy an optional Cycling or Running license as an added extra.
  • Your existing cycling and Running license only runs out on 31 December 2007. Use those in the mean time. We will keep you posted.

Ironman 2008

  • A limited offer package is being finalised for participation in the Ironman South Africa 2008 race
  • Members are to enter under the Spec-savers option and the club will sort out the administration directly with Ironman SA should a viable package be achieved
  • Details will be forwarded to all new Troisport Tri Club members in due course.


TSA affiliation via Central Gauteng Triathlon

  • Registration with the governing body of Triathlon is optional, although encouraged.
  • Forms as well as a drop off / pickup facility of issued cards are available at the Troisport Shop.
  • We can forward you forms by e mail at request to info@troisport.co.za
  • The costs are R300.00 for seniors and R200 for juniors. This money can be transferred directly into the Central Gauteng Triathlon Account and proof forwarded to us (with membership application form) of Jillian (with membership application form) the CGT secretary at cgtriathlon@mweb.co.za :
