Having been competitive in sports as far removed from triathlon as karate and kick boxing, it wasn’t until quite late in my university career that I first contemplated trying my hand at endurance sport. From the purchase of my first bike I was hopelessly addicted. Although Standard distance is my personal favorite, from Sprint through to Ironman, I have yet to find a distance I don’t enjoy. Everything about triathlon has become an absolute passion of mine, and Troisport is the means by which I am able to share that passion with others – and more importantly, I now, for a living, get to ogle all the equipment I am so fanatical about.
Where my other sporting endeavors have had their own rewards, none have quite shared the allure of a triathlon PB – doing triathlon has truly showed me that I am capable of more than I thought I was – this is the purest reward.
