Troi Sport has put together a pre-season triathlon training camp from 11-14 September 2008 at the
Buffelspoort resort (27km west of Hartebeestpoortdam) The aim of the camp is to kick start the programme
with some physical and mental stimulation!

Troi Sport started its various multisport initiatives with an open mind. We were well aware that the triathlon and multisport market in South Africa was fairly small but without doubt a real growth area. The main reason for the potential growth was the fact that triathlon attracts positive people with a zest for life and once you have done a triathlon you get hooked. Therefore very few people leave the sport and the positive people involved in the sport drive the growth through their enthusiasm. Troi Sport had confidence that with the potential growth of the sport and our commitment to honest, reliable and professional services in this industry we could develop a sustainable and successful business now and in the future.

Troi Sport has started with a bang and we have been surprised by the excitement and enthusiasm we have seen towards our available services. Our retail outlet at the Chilli lane Shopping Centre in Sunninghill has been incredibly busy and really created a real buzz in the triathlon market. The Joburg City Triathlon Series has grown tremendously and can credit itself as being the biggest Olympic distance events in the country. The Troi Sport Tri Club has grown to over 120 paid up members since its inception in September 2007. The partners of the Troi Sport business have put many hours into setting up the Troi Sport concepts and ultimately trying to refine them.

We have definitely learnt a lot from mistakes made, feedback from customers , club members and friends. We are continually looking for better ways to service our customer base and keep up with demands of being the “Best” triathlon business in South Africa. When things get quiet on the racing front and the winter sets in the guys from Troi Sport are hard at work trying to find ways to fine tune current concepts and add new and exciting ideas and business facets under the Troi Sport umbrella.

We would like to thank everybody who has supported us in the start up of Troi Sport and assure you all that we will keep trying to develop our sport with passion and honesty through services and advice.
