All athletes participating
in an event sanctioned by
Triathlon South Africa or
its affiliated Provincial
Federations must be
registered and provide proof
of registration on request.
NB: Any athlete who is not
registered with TSA or who
cannot produce their valid
registration card will be
required to purchase a
temporary license prior to
participation in any
Triathlon/ Duathlon /
Aquathlon event.
A Temporary / Day License is
only valid for a single
event and cannot be applied
to multiple events or be
transferred to a third party
Temporary License costs –
R30-00.
This over and above the
event entry fee.
What benefits do you
receive?
1 - Provision of
professional race officials
who are responsible that all
safety and other technical
aspects as prescribed by
Triathlon South Africa, The
International Triathlon
Union and all other legal
requirements are implemented
and adhered to.
2 - Each athlete is provided
with Personal Accident cover
for the duration of the
event. Details of this cover
are available from Triathlon
South Africa and can be
found on
www.triathlonsa.co.za
3 - Provision of Public
Liability insurance for the
event.
All temporary License costs
are paid directly to the
Provincial Federation and
Triathlon South Africa and
all receipts are retained
for audit purposes and as
proof of cover in the event
of any insurance claims.
