We are using Spectrum Sport
for all our timing purposes.
Spectrum sport is now
involved with most
triathlons and duathlons,
including the SA tri Champs.
They publish the results.
Buying the timing chips are
a worthwhile exercise. Their
website is

Here are some guidelines:
• All athletes must buy or rent a timing chip if they wish to be
timed or be eligible to win
a prize. The cost will be
R80 to buy or R80 to rent
with a R50 refund
for
rentals.
• We will sell the chips at all race registrations.
• The personal chips will be the athlete’s property and may be used
at all events timed by
Spectrum Sport Timing.
The rented chips are a
different colour and number
series than those that are
sold.
